VACCINES (II) .....

Ya estoy de vuelta en Madrid después de pasar unos días espectaculares junto a grandes amigos en Valencia por fallas (MUCHAS GRACIAS).


Hoy era el día que tenía que acudir al Hospital Carlos III para que me informaran de las vacunas que debía ponerme. A continuación os las detallo:


- Fiebre Amarilla y Tifoidea: consiste en una inyección cada una. Con una duración de 2 años (al habérmelas puesto para ir a Colombia en Diciembre, no tengo que volver a ponérmelas de nuevo).
- Meningitis: consiste en una vacuna con duración de 3-5 años.
- Polio: una única vacuna con duración indefinida.
- Hepatitis: no me hace falta ningún refuerzo por ya tenerlas.
- Rabia: son 3 dosis que se ponen semanalmente, por lo que hoy me han puesto la primera y la semana que viene tengo que volver para ponerme la siguiente.
- Malaria: me han recetado "Poderma" (doxiciclina 100mg) que deberé tomarme 1 cápsula después de cada desayuno. El tratamiento se debe empezar 1 día antes de ir a la India, durante toda la estancia y 30 días después. Por lo que me han recetado 3 cajas (de 30 unidades).


Como veis, he salido del hospital con el brazo como un colador, y menos mal que te las van alternando en los 2 brazos, y que dos vacunas ya las tenía de Colombia y no he tenido que ponérmelas.... Ahora a esperar pasar unos días "flojillo".
También me han dado un librito de "Consejos y normas sanitarias para viajeros internacionales". En cuanto lo lea os diré las cosas importantes que vea.


Hoy también he recibido un correo de la agencia que nos está tramitando la visa, diciendo que podemos pasar a recoger nuestros pasaportes. Así que mañana a primera hora iré a por ellos. Ya os contaré en el capítulo de mañana como son....

I'm back in Madrid after a few spectacular days with great friends in Valencia by faults (THANK YOU).

Today was the day I had to go to the Hospital Carlos III to inform me of the shotsshould wear. Below I detail you the:

- Yellow Fever and Typhoid: consists of an injection each. With a duration of 2years (since I put it to go to Colombia in December, I haven´t to re-wear them again).
- Meningitis vaccine: consists of a duration of 3-5 years.
- Polio: a single vaccination with indefinite duration.
- Hepatitis: I do not need any reinforcement already have them.
- Rabies: are 3 weekly doses that are put, so today I have the first and next week I have to get back to the next.
- Malaria: I have been prescribed "Poderma" (doxycycline 100mg) that I musttake my 1 capsule after each breakfast. Treatment should begin 1 day before going to India, during the entire stay and 30 days later. So I prescribed 3 boxes(30 units).

You see, I left the hospital with his arm like a sieve, and thank goodness you thealternate in the 2 arms, and two shots and was in Colombia and have not had towear them .... Now wait a few days "weak".
I also have a book of "Tips and health standards for international travelers." As I read will tell you important things I see.

Also today I received an email from the agency that is processing the visa us,saying we can go to collect our passports. So tomorrow morning I'll go for them.I'll tell you tomorrow in the chapter as they are ....
