Faltan tan solo 5 días, y tras hablar con amigos que ya han estado en la India, nos han aconsejado sitios alternativos a los que teníamos pensado, por ser menos turísticos y, que por lo tanto, nos iban a gustar más....
El primer cambio en nuestra ruta es subir al norte de Nueva Delhi, al estado de Haryana y Punjab, para visitar:
- El templo dorado de Amritsar
- El cambio de guardia en la frontera de Pakistán
- La organizadísima metrópoli de Chandigarh (obra de Le Corbusier)
Y el segundo gran cambio será evitar las visitas a Mumbai y Goa.
Primero por la gran distancia que hemos de cruzar (de este a oeste). Y después porque:
- Mumbai, que a pesar de ser la cuna de la industria cinematográfica india, es una ciudad caótica y que mejor evitarla.
- Y Goa porque se está perdiendo el encanto de sus playas paradisiacas por la masificación de turistas, y además los precios se están poniendo por las nubes.
Como alternativa al viaje, nos quedaremos en la costa este, donde el número de turistas es menor y donde mantendremos mayor contacto con personas nativas. De ahí que nos quedemos en el estado de Odisha, visitando el triángulo de:
- Bhubaneswar,la ciudad de los templos.
- Konark, para ver el Templo del Sol.
- Puri, por sus largas playas sólo visitadas por hindús.
De todas formas nuestro itinerario está abierto, ya que no hemos reservado nada, y según como vayamos avanzando seguro que nos surgen mil imprevistos que nos harán avanzar o quedarnos unos días más en ciudades inesperadas.

Missing only 5 days, and after talking to friends who have been in India, we have advised alternative sites to which we had thought to be less touristy and therefore, we would like it more ....
The first change in our way is up north of New Delhi, the state of Haryana and Punjab to visit:
- The Golden Temple of Amritsar
- The changing of the guard at the border of Pakistan
- The extremely organized metropolis of Chandigarh (Le Corbusier)
The second big change is to avoid visits to Mumbai and Goa.
First by the great distance we have to cross (east to west). And after that:
- Mumbai, which despite being the cradle of the Indian film industry, is a chaoticand best avoided.
- And Goa because it is losing the charm of its beautiful beaches by the mass of tourists, and prices are also being put through the roof.
As an alternative to travel, we stay on the east coast, where the number of tourists is less and where keep more contact with native people. Hence, we stay in the state of Orissa, visiting the triangle:
- Bhubaneswar, the city of temples.
- Konark, to see the Temple of the Sun
- Puri, for its long beaches visited by Hindus only.
Anyway, our route is open, as we have not booked anything, and the way we move sure we emerge billion unexpected that we will move forward or stay a fewdays in unexpected cities.
