Tras el madrugón (y el palizón del viaje), llego a casa, dejo la maleta, cojo la documentación del visado de Carmen y la mía y las llevo a la agencia que las tramitará. El nombre de la agencia es ARKE BLS CENTER, y está en la Calle Cardenal Marcelo Spinola 4, 1º derecha, en Madrid (horario de 9h a 12:30h).
Cuando llegas a la agencia, coges número para tramitar visados de turismo y a esperar...
Al llegar tu turno, te piden el pasaporte; la solicitud del visado rellenado en internet, impreso y firmado; una fotografía tamaño carné y los 64,20€ de tasas.
Es muy importante decir el tiempo que se va a estar (6 ó 12 meses) y las veces que se tiene pensado entrar al país en ese período de tiempo (single si sólo se va a ir una vez o doble si se va a salir para visitar otros países (por ejemplo Nepal) y volver a entrar después a la India.
Cuando chequean que todos los datos son correctos, te dan una hoja impresa (recibo) con todos los datos y las tasas abonadas. Y te dicen la fecha aproximada en la que estará gestionada la visa (si todo va bien para el 23 de Marzo).
Normalmente envían un email confirmándote que ya está la visa tramitada, para que pases a recoger el pasaporte. Si en la fecha prevista no hay noticia alguna, recomiendan que entres en la web de la agencia e introduciendo el número de pasaporte te indican si hay algún tipo de incidencia.

When you reach your turn, they ask for passport, visa application completedonline, printed and signed, a passport photo and fee € 64.20.
